Planning continues for Solano vanpools
Transportation and Parking Services, or TAPS, has put out another call for Davis campus employees who may be interested in vanpooling from Solano County.
One of the vanpools would originate in Vacaville, for people with work hours of 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. People interested in joining this vanpool or learning more are invited to a meeting from noon to 1 p.m. May 28 in Conference Room B in the TAPS Building just north of the west entry garage off Hutchison Drive.
The other vanpool would originate in Fairfield, for people with work hours of 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. The approximate cost for this vanpool, including gas (estimated at $2.40 per gallon) and parking is $113 a month for the first year and $125 a month after that.
