Chef Martin Yan and Wife Donate Archive to 91��Ƭ Davis

World-renowned celebrity chef Martin Yan’s collection of nearly 3,000 cookbooks, his first wok, thousands of photographs and other media will be the main ingredients in an archive to be established in his name at the 91��Ƭ, Davis.

Yan and his wife, Susan, both 91��Ƭ Davis graduates, recently gifted the items and funds to create the Chef Martin Yan Legacy Archive in the 91��Ƭ Davis Library Archives and Special Collections.

‘World’s Greatest Wine Library’ at 91��Ƭ Davis Continues to Grow

When Hugh Johnson, author of the ground-breaking World Atlas of Wine, decided to donate his archive of nearly 60 years of wine-book writing to the 91��Ƭ Davis Library in 2016, he explained that he had chosen 91��Ƭ Davis because, “It’s simply the greatest wine library in the world.”
